The Bridge

The last pub in England, who's nickname is The Trap. Located just inside the English border near Chirk Bank. From the outside drinking area there is a good view of Thomas Telford's famous  Llangollen Canal aqueduct and the railway viaduct as they cross the River Ceiriog near Chirk. Readers comments - Visited early on a Tuesday evening. Two Banks' beers on, plus Stonehouse Station Bitter. Sampled the Mild + Station and found the quality to be excellent. Pub was quiet - landlord's night off?  - May 2010
