The Bulls Head is listed on the National Inventory of Histroic Pub Interiors because of its colourful tiles and glazed bricks. And there's an attractive painted pub sign on the end wall.  Two real ales were on. Food served. Situated on Plough Road. Tel - 01952 613181 Visited Feb 2016

Back open again - but no real ale on.
Car park. Pool table. Collection of pot animals. Situated on Moss Road. Tel - 01952 613593 
 

The Pheasant

No real ale on our last visit. 
A basic back-street with carpets that really clash with the wallpaper. Useful car park around  the back. Pool table. Banks's Original a bit too bland. Tel - 01952 618625. Situated on Lincoln Road. Visited Oct 2013 2003

Red Lion

No real ale on our last visit. 
Situated on New Road this is a single real ale pub with just Tetleys on offer. It was well kept but the problem with Tetley Bitter is it's just too bland. There are two rooms, one with darts and a car park around the back. Quiz nights on Thursday. Cabinet full of sporting trophies. Tel - 01952 617820. Visited Nov 2001

White Horse Tavern

The building was constructed in 1734. The hand-pull was turned around on our last visit, but we believe the real ale is back most of the time. Multi-roomed pub situated on New Road. Pool table. Car park. Tel - 01952 270707  Pub website
