Situated at the top of High Street, the Bear had 6 real ales on - well kept and tasty. The building dates back to 1662, and the black and white timbered exterior testifies to over 3 centuries of history. Food served. Hundreds of guest ale beermats on the beams. Lots on the tables too. Nicely refurbished and now with an open plan layout. Piano. Food served. Background music. Coffee served. Note the ceiling which features old wooden doors mostly still with their locks on, and the 1940's glass light pendants. Accommodation. Featuring 3 Shropshire real ales - served at a nice temperature. Joules pub. This is a lively small pub tucked away down St.Marys Street. Recently the choice of real ale has grown to 5 ales! There's a real fire and food served. Reubens Bar

We hear that real ale is no longer served. The newest addition to Whitchurch's pub scene. Opened in Summer 2018, Reubens Bar and BBQ is very nicely appointed with a stylish interior and a very friendly welcome. Check out the murals in the main bar and in the room at the back. Ex-Marstons pub. Now a coffee and curios shop, with a couple of ciders on hand-pull. Situated on Watergate Street. 

       

Wheatsheaf

White Bear

The White Bear is long and thin, and comfortable. Beer garden at the back and tables outside at the front as well. During the day the pub doubles as a coffee shop. Four real ales on offer - well kept, and served at a nice temperature. Background music. There's a useful sign outside to let you know what beers are being pulled. Major refurb in 2012.
