| Back open again after being shut for 8 years. Last time we visited this was a great example of a rural pub with whitewashed walls and beams inside. The real ale was served straight from the barrel from the back room - so there are no handpulls on the bar. Situated in the wilds off the A4117 north of Cleobury Mortimer. Small car park. Food served. Pool table. |

comment - Closed 2006 There is a planning application with Shropshire Council at the moment for its change of use to a non-pub dwelling. It has (according to the application) been closed for 6 years now. There is an objection from the parish council. In any case, the pub is closed at the moment - Dec 2011 Change of use to a ceramic workshop agreed - May 2012 |
