Royal Hill

Freehouse. Friendly traditional multi-roomed village local with three real ales. Wonderfully unspoilt. All the beers were good, especially the Three Tuns XXX. Worth another visit. Food served. Tables outside overlooking the River Severn - with an interesting flood depth gauge. Date-stone on the front confirms the pub was built in 1777. Situated near Pentre off the A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry. Tel - 01743 741242  Visited Sep 2016  Pub website
