| Freehouse. The pub sign was missing the day we visited - and since then we hear the pub has been refurbished. Food served. Car park. Beer garden and kiddies play area. Benches and flowers at the front of the pub. Situated on the B4367 close to the Herefordshire border. Tel - 01547 530213. Visited Oct 2002 |

like a proper country oub with various rooms around a central bar area.
Nice log burners scattered about. Remains a drinkerts pub rather than a
gastropub. Only two real ales on though, neither local - Jan 2014 A fairly ordinary country pub, near the railway station, that serves food. Bar room (with pool table) and separate lounge/dining area. Two real ales on when I was there: the Wye Valley Bitter was good, a 4/5. Well worth a visit if passing by - Aug 2012 |
